Using Gmail to send your email

It is possible in Gmail to setup multiple email aliases in order to "Send mail as" your domain email account via the Gmail interface. This may be useful if you prefer the Gmail email client.

This is found under Settings > Accounts in Gmail.

Here are instructions to setup a secure smtp connection:

Step 1) Enter Name and full Email Address.
Step 2) Choose the option to "Send through domain name SMTP servers (recommended for professional domains)"
SMTP: host##.servername.com (you can find your server name by going to http://yourdomain.com/webmail and looking at the URL address bar)
user: emailAddress@yourdomain.com
pass: Your email accounts password.
port: 465
Check "Always use a secure connection (SSL) when sending mail"
Click on "Add Account".

Please note we can provide you the settings for this feature. Please go to http://learn.googleapps.com/gmail for help with Gmail.
