Warnings and Tips

It's highly possible if the inital connection fails that Microsoft has blocked this first connection for security reasons. You can allow this account access by following these instructions:

  1. Log into https://account.microsoft.com
  2. Head to the "Security" tab.
  3. Look at the "Recent Activity List" and find the listing for the website connection. Click on "It was me" to allow your site access to your Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live/MSN email account.
We recommend to anyone who might use a Microsoft based email address to make sure you have a alternate email address setup. This is in case it full locks you out of your account. Click here for instructions on setting up those security features.
