Enabling 'Update Profile' Option on Secure Pages
Enabling this feature allow your users to make updates to their user profile once logged into one of your secure pages. Enabling the Profile editor will add a link to all secure pages.
These settings allow you to control what profile fields they are allowed to update themselves.
- Log into your Admin and go to the Control Panel in the menu.
- Click on Security in the menu.
- Click on Update Profile Options in the menu.
- To turn on this feature select 'Yes' on the "Enable Update My Profile" Option. Doing so will add a link at the top of your content on your secure pages that your users can click on to update their profile. You can change the text on this link by editing the Link Text.
- Choose the options a user can update by toggling the feature On.
Note: It's recommended to always allow them to change their own password as changing passwords regularly should be encouraged to enhance security on your website.
