Asset Manager: folder management
There may be times when you wish to add an image to your page or just simply link to a PDF file. Files used on your pages are added and stored using the Asset Manager. Unless you are using a module like the File Manager or Media and Resource Library using the asset manager helps organize and store the files you want to use on your page content.
To open the asset manager click on the Image or Hyperlink icons in the editor. Then click on Browse Files.
Adding a Folder
By default all files are stored in the top folder but you can create your own folders to organize files.
- Click on the "New Folder" text.
- Type in a folder name. Make it clear enough so everyone using the site will understand what is in that folder.
- Click "create" and you should see your new folder listed in the left folder directory.
- Select this folder before uploading a file if you want to store a file there.
