How to setup sign up with Administration approval
1. Setup a new form (Modules > FormBuilder) and call it something like "Forum Signup". You will want to make sure these particular settings are used for doing this task.
Notify owner when something is submitted: yes
Owner Email: List the BBS administator email addresses here. Place commas between email addresses if you have multiple addresses.
Associate to groups: Select 'BBS Users'
Form Fields: Choose what fields you want to collect, here you can also have them enter their own username and password.
Save the new form.
2. Create a new page for this form and make this page a reference page. To add the form on the page go to the modules tab and choose FormBuilder. Remember that reference pages are not shown on the live site so you will have to link to this sign up form from an appropriate place on your BBS page or where ever you want to send them to sign up.
3. When someone fills out the form the BBS Administrators will be notified via email that there is a form reponse. The administrator will need to go to Modules > FormBuilder > View Unproccesed results on the 'Forum Signup" form and find the response. They will need to click "Make Me A User" to add that person to the BBS Users group if they approve of this person joining the forum.
Make sure that all the forums that need security are at least set to "BSS Users" access only for this to work.
1. Log in to SiteApex admin.
2) Go to Modules > BBS v2 > List Forums > Edit forum > Access Level
